“I sew, mend and embroider my story.”

I believe that sewing has the power to connect us with a form of ancestral meditation where the needle and thread lose their material value to become like rosary beads are to prayers. A rhythm linked to the breath and the heart that connects me with a very intimate and irrational part of myself, one that is sincere and absent of any technical formulation. It unlocks access to these raw and genuine thoughts that I can articulate without the filter of words.

My little meditation books made with hand-dyed fabrics from the summer and autumn months have the ability to reconnect me with the most creative part of myself during the silence of winter, vital for regenerating energy for the next spring.
